This is far more economical than staying in a hotel. It works out at about fifty dollars per person per night, less even, compare that to a hotel where it is around a hundred. Renting a house gives us much more space than we would get in a hotel. I think comparing staying here and in a hotel, I can see no advantages to staying in a hotel. With Japan Experience,
you pay less to be better located, so you can’t lose. We had a great stay, the house is well located. It is well located, in good surroundings, right next to temples, just over from the Philosophers’ path. Once you step out of the apartment,
it is clear that you are really in Japan. This is a typical house,
so we can get the Japan experience, for real. Cook your own food, sit cross-legged, and just enjoy it. It is all part of the experience.
We want to live like Japanese people, we have all the tools to do so at our disposal. We take a short walk to orientate them in their surroundings. She asked us how many days we stay here? In our four days, she helped us to plan what we would do. This takes half a day, you can do that in this area. We are a Japanese friend, in Kyoto, for our travelers. We are welcomed, as if by friends, who invite us into their home. They explain to us how life is here in Tokyo.
It is such a good service, very pleasant. This is so good in a country as foreign to us as Japan, to know a person who is part of that world,
who will be able to talk about it, like a Japanese person would talk about their own country. We are really part of the city, we eat like they do, we go in the same supermarkets they go.
This is a really different feeling. It has given us another vision of Kyoto. We really loved it. The ideal house. Perfect. Just perfect. I loved it. It’s really worth it.
