It Takes More Than Just a License to Sell Real Estate


Hi Everybody it’s Cynda Sells and today
we’re going do something a little bit different than what we’ve done in the
past. We have basically focused on our videos with buyers and sellers and today
I’m starting a new series and my videos are going to be targeted towards
Realtors so very excited about this and I’m going to tell you kind of what my
motive is behind this but today’s subject is it
takes more than just a license to sell real estate. So as many of us already
know there are a lot of Realtors sort of come into the business in the last
couple of years in KCRAR alone we’ve had a huge huge jump in the amount
of people that have gotten into real estate and so usually when the market is
really good and we’re in a very good seller’s market right now you will see
that happen. Now I got to thinking about it and of course I still do real estate
so I still do transactions even though I own the Cynda Sells Real Estate
Company and I help the agents that are here but I still do work with other
agents and what I found is these other agents really are not well trained many
of them don’t know the process of how to help a buyer I mean they know the fringes, you know the edge of it the fringes of it but they don’t really know
in depth what they’re supposed to be doing so they’re out there floundering
and so I really am very passionate about this business and I think that’s
conveyed in most of the blogs and the videos that I’ve done in the past I
think it is so important the job we do I feel like in our business we
hold people’s lives in the palm of our hand so to speak and what I mean by that
is that you know you’re working with people’s money you’re working with
people’s finances you’re working with their their happiness their dreams their
goals when you are helping them sell their properties listing and selling
their properties and they’re going somewhere else how about when you’re
helping them buy or helping invest there’s a lot of things that we
do for people that can change their lives can change their financial
pictures and I will just tell you a little story about an investor seller
that I have now that worked with the buyers agent years ago and I’m not
kidding you he sold him the worst properties. I’ve had trouble selling
these properties in today’s market because they have been in very very very
bad parts of well not parts of town but just parts of neighborhoods where he
bought them the the houses are in such an absolutely bad condition that so much
work has had to be done now he didn’t pay he paid top dollar for these
properties when he bought them he didn’t buy them extra cheap so it hurts my
heart to think that whoever sold these properties to this investor was really
just looking for it I can assume is a quick check because he didn’t do his due
diligence I would have never sold this man this investor of these properties
because I knew they weren’t properties that I would have a very hard time
selling if he ever decided to do so which is exactly what’s going on and
that’s just an example of what I’m talking about
I have countless stories of things like that that have come down and so it’s
it’s critical for us as Realtors to be well trained and to know what our doing
we’re doing in order to help our clients and just serve our clients to the best
of our ability so when you’re a new agent you don’t know what you don’t know
and I know that as a dinosaur, I call myself a dinosaur I’ve been at it
for 25 years, I know there are people that have been at it longer than I have
but I’m telling you there are very many out there anymore most of the agents out
there have only been in it for a couple of years and you do kind of learn by
trial and error but there are certain things that I am willing to teach you
that will help you that will give you a leg up that’ll
help you kind of stand out above the crowd and so I really invite you to come

to be on team to be in my company and I my pride
myself on the fact that the Realtors that come here go into a heavy training
and coaching sessions with me so they know we do work well as a team here as
well so the other agents that are experienced are always more than
willing and able to help other newer agents but I also love again I love my
industry I love the real estate business and I want us all I want to see us all
succeed and I want us to all do the very best that we can. So that’s all for now

different subjects about how to work with buyers because most of us start out
working with buyers working with sellers and all kinds of other things. So stay tuned
