How to Get More Real Estate Listings (in winter)


Hey, guys. Bryan here from BoomTown with
the tip for how to get more leads this winter and more
offers for your Sellers. Winter is typically the
month that people don’t think about listing their home. You’ve got the holiday season
and people traditionally think that may and June are the
hottest months to list a home. But here’s a chart from
Steve hardy with keeping current matters that shows you
the great opportunity for you and for your Sellers. Inventory levels are
very low compared to buyer demand right now. So that means that there are
not enough listings out there for buyers to shop for and
buyers are shopping even in the winter months. So this is the
perfect opportunity to take our new tool
markings central and leverage this to
get leads for yourself and offers for your Sellers. If you have a listing that
has been on market more than 30 days, you’re
probably past the point where all the
notifications that it’s a new listing have
run their course and you want to get more
eyeballs to the property and go to my listings
click the promote button. And that is going to
give you the option to promote this listing
using Marketing Central. We recommend a small budget
of about 50 or 100 bucks over a three to five day
period a little more budget if you want a longer
period like seven or 14 days to promote that listing. This is going to get
you more eyeballs gets you leads for yourself
because people will register to see photos on the property. So now you’re
going to get offers for your seller leads for
yourself and you’re taking advantage of the fact
that most people aren’t listing their home right now. When a home sells
recently this winter you can do the same
strategy by doing a sold promotion
just sold promotion using Marketing Central as well. Same thing. Use a small budget promoted
over a short period and use that to show the buyers out there. People are buying homes
and show the Sellers that people are listing
and getting great results. And you are selling properties. That’s the way that
you can show everybody that winter is a
